Jeff's Song 04:06
Mommy, I dont want to go to church They treat me like shit and they dont let me tell the truth can i just stay home today i dont want to give up everything just to pray They march us directly to our fate to fight the devil they told us to hate parents support their every move cuz their kid's mind is what they have to lose oh oh, we let so many things take our minds oh oh, can i get an amen oh oh, you wont see me fighting on the front line is the point of life just to simply stay alive? "Whatd you learn in church today?" i learned youll burn if you dont think our way I learned that we're nothing but sheep we stay within our leaders shortest reach and its so wrong to be gay I learned that being lefty is the wrong way and we dont have any voice about it mindless servants of such rules that need not be

Another Case 03:11
A kid afraid of the dark That saw images of melting and refuge in the shadows Haunting the halls of my mind Scattered thoughts of what is that and what is… Don’t clock out/Lose your mind No way out /Close your eyes Don’t clock out /Over time Close your eyes/Black night A shot in the dark, a broken valve to let my water flow free A shot in the dark is all we have, follow me A kid afraid of the dark Not another time, rolling off of the mind A kid—decomposed the first line, the primitive See what’s inside the mind of a guilt trip Can’t see nothing until you don’t think, it’s not the way it works Don’t want to blink, no escape from reality because everything that’s real is in your mind Don’t want to deal with idealism is what you make of it, illegit Nervousness through you veins, nerves transmit Can I take a minute? I gotta cool my shit down Every time I get worked up I head the same sound A shot in the dark, a broken valve to let my water flow free A shot in the dark is all we have, follow me We’re another case of the criminal and the mobile effects With a complex of the emotional aspect Picking lines in fences and material hex We write the checks, we write the checks next The regression of why you’re next with the streaming and calling collect Following orders—exempt right from the start With taxation with representation raising the tides of nations Chasing the wars with checks and thinking it’s right Despite of what they think I’m a roughneck at times pushing through in the background, silent as a mime Power is a well from which they drink out, certain they get too drunk and lose their minds Break the lines, break the barriers, the crowds I faked the battles and the walls came down I faked the battles and the walls came down I faked the battles, now break the walls down

Justice 03:52
I’m working on a big case tonight, so please don’t bother me If they come to question you, I didn’t tell you a thing Because you know, I’m gonna have to kill you When we got together baby, I tried to warn you soon But you said you didn’t care and smothered me with poon Now you know there’s nothing more we can do Justice will be… Justice will be… Justice will be… Justice will be… They noticed what I said, watched my every move well They know you talk too much, I promise I didn’t tell Now they know that you know too much Now it’s all complete they set the date tonight Let’s go, on your feet, I didn’t put up a fight Put her on a rack, shot her in the back, typical procedure of a government attack Justice will be… Justice will be… Justice will be… Justice will be… She took off her vest and threw it in my face Said she was scared to death, now to Mexico in rags Because you know they’re gonna come for me (hey hey hey) Sitting on the beach sipping Courvoisier Water at our feet, break in the new day Cause you know justice will be served! Justice will be… Justice will be… Justice will be… Justice will be served!

Bad Day 02:58
It all started on the perfect day The sun was shining things were going my way I had no idea what was going to begin I just thought as the waves rolled in Later on when I was walking home I saw you outside my house on the phone when I got to the door this is what you said: "It's over, have a nice day." You Walked Away I tried to ask you "Why?" You simply smiled as you said "Goodbye." I was so confused that I sat on the ground That's when my life turned up-side down Then it hit me, I was late for work I started driving and I made a wrong turn Four Red Lights and one flat tire I got to work and my boss said "You're Fired." Chorus: It's Just a part of my... It's Just a part of my... It's Just a part of my... It's just a part of my Bad Day The Walk home was oh so far All because I locked the keys in my car Then I got home, turned on he TV I couldn't beleive this was happening to me Millions dying and the world is at war I knew I just couldn't take much more We'll grow up and we'll learn how to kill They say things will change, but I know they never will Chorus Chorus

about

Our first full length album. Some of these songs were written by the guys while they were still in high school. A lot of these songs made us local Riverside legends and we even got some radio play out of Internet Girl.
The cover art was adapted from a John Martinez painting. The physical copy of our CD went out of print years ago, but its lived on digitally for years on streaming and download services.

Funny story about the lineup for this album: There's a ton of dudes credited on this album and for the most part that's what we played with live. Adam was living in Fresno at the time and we were recording outside of LA in South Gate, Ca so he only played with us when he was in town. But Nick, our drummer, joined the band literally days before recording. He was our back up drummer because you need a back up drummer when your primary drummer is 16 and has a controlling mom. We had two big shows the weekend before recording, one at the Showcase Theatre in Corona, Ca and the other at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, Ca. Bobby told us last minute that his mom wouldn't let him go to the shows for some reason. This was a regular problem, so in steps the hero of the day, Nick, to play the shows for us. It was when we were practicing for those shows that we decided that Bobby had to go and that Nick was our man. He was our drummer for the duration of the band's life.

So with Nick being the new drummer there are a couple of things with some of the songs. First of all, Sin Stick and Darkest Thoughts are way too fast! Nick played in a Punk Rock band called Knock Out before joining our band, but he was never really a punk rock drummer, so when it came to playing it he never really had the right tempo and always played way too fast. While the rhythm section was recording we thought it sounded great and it was fun ti play, but of course when it came to laying down the vocals it kind of made it difficult for Josh and James, which I feel is pretty apparent on the album.

Anyway, that's enough of my yammering. Enjoy the show!
